Instead, I’m going to talk to you about connecting the dots. But I’m going to save those for another day this week. Only a handful of people have shared their stories in the comment section, but man have they been insightful and inspiring. Today has been one of those days that told me loud and clear that I am definitely in a dip and not a cul-de-sac. So, here’s the question for today: have you ever experienced a Dip, and if so, how did you get through it? I’ll be sharing my thoughts every day about how these ideas and concepts are impacting me, and it’s my sincere hope that you’ll do the same. SO, that’s why I’ve decided to really dive deep for an entire week on each book we cover here. I also know from talking to some people over the weekend that there are SO MANY great stories out there, and no shortage of people who are busy implementing the concepts in these books. Most of the comments have been of the “great job” variety, which really didn’t force me to think about the concepts from the book further than I already have (don’t get me wrong, I appreciate them!). Up until now, I’ve been posting the videos and responding to the comments here. He said that “the world doesn’t need more books, it needs more conversations”. When I spoke to Seth for the interview this week, I asked him my “million dollar question”, which is “why does the world need your book?” He answered in pure Godin form - counterintuitive and SO bang on. A mini “Dip” of sorts.īut here’s what I want to say for today. I was having some serious issues with the technology here to get this summary and post up, and felt like tossing my laptop out the window on more than one occasion. Today couldn’t have been a better day for me to start talking about “The Dip”.
